Matsan Makina A.S. was established by Mr. Bekir Dadakoğlu in 1963 as an individual workshop in Istanbul. In the first years of his business life, Mr. Bekir Dadakoğlu has started to manufacture spare parts for automative industry. Considering the conjuncture of the time period in the country, Matsan A.S. turned its production activities to cutting tool manufacturing, that was crucial for all production sectors in Turkey. In 1976, Mr. Bekir Dadakoglu was inspired by the machine tools, which was the main content of his production and registered its sole proprietorship as "Matsan Machine Tool Industry- Bekir Dadakoğlu".

During these years, Matsan A.S. served to the diverse industries like Machinery, Paper Mills, Iron-Steel, Aluminum, as well as Chemical Manufacturers. Matsan Makina has also fulfilled very critical tasks for the Turkish Industry's significant sectors with its standard & special cutting tools. During these years, when CNC technology was not existent, Mr. Bekir Dadakoğlu took a step towards incorporation with his children in 1982 and established Matsan Makina Tool Industry and Trade Inc. ''Matsan A.S'' with the experience of cutting tool manufacturing.

At the same time, Matsan A.S. has also started to manufacture technical parts for its customers that required high precision in the defense industry. With its CNC machine investment in 1991, Matsan A.S. became one of the first few manufacturer in Turkey utilizing CNC technology. Matsan A.S. always keeps its possibilities and capabilities up-to-date and at the highest level by investing to the new technologies. As known and trusted manufacturer in the industry, Matsan A.S. continues to produce high quality auto spare parts as well as high precision industrial parts needed by the defense industry.
